Show Group Leaders To Attend Craft Meet At University FT. DUCHESNE Recreation club and group Leaders and members mem-bers of the Ute 'Tribal business committee will attend an arts and craft meet at the University of Utah May 25-26. The conference is sponsored by the Salt Lake County recreation department for all recreation workers in the state. Planning to attend are: Home Secakuku, Jasper Cuch, Jr., Alfred Al-fred Parriettee, Thomas Appah, Russell Cuch, Lupe LaRose, Fran and Francis McKinlay, Harvey Natchess, Ouray McCook, Wallace Tabbee, Jason Cuch and Norma Denver. The Ute Recreation group received' a special, invitation to this interesting training course from Delbert Smedley, director of art instruction for the Granite School District, and art instructor for the Ute Indians, and Mrs. Beeley director of the Craft House. On June 6, 7, 8, this group will attend a leadership workshop training course conducted under the Extension Division of the University of Utah The workshop will feature techniques, principles Six of this group attended the sessions in April and reported the workshop very successful a"4 helpfuL |
