Show Closing Date For A.C.P. Sign-Up Sign-Up Is Announced Duchesne County farmers are advised by Joseph Wilcken, chairman chair-man of the Duchesne Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation County Committee, that May 25th is the last day they can sign-up for Agricultural Conservation Program Pro-gram practices to be started with cost-shares approved prior to July 6, 1956. Request can be made to the Federal Government to share the cost of needed eligible practices on your farm at any time during the program year- However, for the equitable distribution of funds the last Friday of each month has been established as a closing date. Immediately after each date, cost-shares cost-shares will be approved for practices prac-tices to be started prior to the next closing date. Mr. Wilcken reminds the farmers farm-ers of this area that no Federal cost-sharing can be approved unless un-less a request is made before starting start-ing the practice. Most- practices require technical determination prior to their approval, therefore, a minimum of 30 days should be' provided between the time of your request and when you plan to start the practice. |
