ATTA ASHBY MURRAY ALTONAH Funeral services were conducted last Friday, June 8, at 1 p. m. in the Al-tonah Al-tonah ward chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - Day Saints, for Mrs, Atta Amelia Ashby Murray, 69, who died June 5 after a lingering illness, at the home of a son, James W. Murray at Myton, Bishop Lester Les-ter Maxfield conducted the ser vices. Speakers were Bishop Parker from the Taylorsville ward, Mrs. Minnie Maxfield, Lott Powell and C. N. Shiner. A male quartet quar-tet from Myton sang two numbers num-bers and a ladies chorus, directed direct-ed by Mrs. Elva Snyder, sang a number. Mrs. Elva Snyder played he piano prelude and postlude music. Pallbearers were five sqns, Wilmer. Boyd, Leland, Claude and Clyde Murray, and a grandson. grand-son. Dewey Murray. Burial was in the Altonah -cemetery, under the direction of the Olpin mortuary, Roosevelt. Roose-velt. FRED OBERHANSLEY NEOLA Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 2 p. m. in the Neola ward chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for Fred Oberhansly, Ober-hansly, 75, long-time resident of the Uintah Basin, who died Wednesday at 10 a. m. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Dor-al Dor-al Bellon, 2H Navajo St., Salt Lake City, of a heart ailment. Mr. Oberhansly was born in Payson. Nov. 24, 1875. a son of Herman and Amelia Smith Ober-hansley. Ober-hansley. He received his education educa-tion in the Payson schools and married May Cloward on May 29, 1901 in Payson. Following his marriage, he resided in Thistle Valley near Payson, for a few years and then moved to the Uintah Basin where he engaged in farming and stock raising at Hayden. He resided at Hayden until 1943, when Mrs. Oberhansly died. Following Fol-lowing her death he had resided with his yaripus sons and daughters, daugh-ters, He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Lat-ter-Day Saints. Survivors include four sons and six daughters: Duane, Dean and Mark Oberhansly. all of Hayden; Glenn R. Oberhansly, Mrs. Lyle (Laura) Jackson; Mrs. Doral (Lynne) Bellon, and Mrs. Lisle Fisher, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. C. L. (Blanche) Wag-staff, Wag-staff, Tabiona; Mrs. Lyle (Beatrice) (Beat-rice) Anderson, Laramie, Wyo.; Mrs. L. F. (Wanda) Anderson, San Francisco; 25 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and the folowing brothers and sisters: John Oberhansly, Spanish Fork; Will Oberhansly, Neola; Vern Oberhansly, Ogden; Frank Oberhansly, Ober-hansly, Hawaii; Mrs. Orrin Gardner, Hayden; Mrs. L. B. Harmon, Salt Lake City; Mrs. i Noel S. Hemmert, Detroit, Mich, and Mrs. Thatcher Allred, Ogden. Og-den. Burial was in the Roosevelt cemetery, under the direction of the Dillman mortuary. |
