Show Stake Boy Scouts HoSd Camporee .. The Moon Lake stake Boy Scouts held their camporee at the Burnt Mill Friday and Saturday. Sat-urday. Sixty-four boys participated partici-pated in the outing, with all the wards but one represented. Grant Mace, district scout executive, ex-ecutive, Linford Maxfield and Gordon Case directed the camporee. camp-oree. Mr. "and Mrs. Hyrum Smith were here over the week-end to look after their property and to visit with relatives. Mr. Smith has employment at Hill Air base. They are making their home in Syracuse, Davis county. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Carlile, of Woodland, spent the weekend week-end with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Gor-don Case. Their hosts and two sons accompanied them to Woodland Wood-land Monday. Gordon went on to Salt Lake for medical attention. at-tention. George Case, a recent high school graduate, has gone to Salt Lake to seek employment. If not successful in Salt Lake, he plans to go to Pocatello, Ida. A. M. Burton, of Talmage, a member of the high council, and Beth Winkler, of Bluebell, stake M.I.A. music director, were the speakers at Sacrament meeting Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Linden Hansen, Mr. and Mrs. Evan Hansen, Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Hansen and Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hansen attended funeral services in Elsinore, Saturday, Sat-urday, for their uncle, Peter Anderson. |
