Show IS IxTevc Crews at the Ute Tribal "B" No. 1 well, located near Roosevelt Roos-evelt in NE SW, Sec 20-1S-1E. are moving in rotary tools. - The Roosevelt Stepout well. Rosemary Lloyd No. 1, located NW SW, Sec. 24-1S-1E is down 2878 feet in sandy shale. Total depth at the Duchesne Ute Tribal No. 1 well is 7550 feet. A drill-stem test at 7470-7550 7470-7550 was attempted but packer failed, a second drill-stem test at 1470-7550, failed (tool plugged): Another drill-stem test was atempted at 7345-755 feet, packer held 2 minutes, recovered recov-ered 960 ft. heavily oil and gas-cut gas-cut mud. A drill-6tem test between be-tween 7352-7552 feet, open 2 hours, shut in 20 minutes, had gas raise to surface in 15 minutes, min-utes, with a strong blow for the first hour, decreasing to a light blow at end of second hour. Gas was exhausted before starting out of hole. Fluid was encountered encount-ered at 4680 feet above bottom of drill stem. When breaking first stand of fluid, gas. mud and oil blew out and ignited, causing extensive damage to rig. No fatalities fa-talities incurred. Two blow-out preventers are now closed with high pressure valve on drill pipe. Crews are cleaning up. The Jack A. Burnett No. 1 well on Strawberry, SW SW. Sec. 34-4S-11W. is down 7736 feet. |
