Show Operetta Dates Set For Jan. 12 W. Grant Peel, music director at Altamont High School, announces announ-ces that the operetta "Lelawalla" will be presented in the Altamont gymnasium Jan. 12. The cast includes: Lelawalla, Eva Swasey; Wokomis, Max Brotherson; Klolowar, Bob Goodrich; Good-rich; Captain Bliss, Donald Dur-fey; Dur-fey; Sergeant Bilks, Donal Kolb; Fire Fly, Reva Clark; Major Wallace, Wal-lace, Ronald Powell; Eagle Eye the Scout, Don Carroll; Mabel, Cora Lee Maxfield; Clarinda, Lila Oman; Shungela, Ralph Thacker; Sowanas, David Hislop; Lord Tat-ler, Tat-ler, Joe Kemp; Napanese, Ruby Weeks; Hintola, Carol Case; Wam-bebe, Wam-bebe, Ronald Miles; Wocota, Bob AHred. There will be seventy students participating and it promises to be tops in the best entertainment. Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Mower, of Texas, spent the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Glen Ames. They are planning to make their home here in the Basin. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Whitehead, of Bluebell, visited at the Glen Ames home on Christmas day. A lovely New Year's dinner was served at the Anthon Rust home. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Evan Bennion, Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Powell and family, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Rust, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rust, Miss Gwendolyn Chapman, Chap-man, and Mr. and Mrs. Anthon Rust and family. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Snow and family, from Boneta, had New Year's dinner at the Volney Bos-well Bos-well home. Mr. and Mrs. Max Clark and daughter from ' California, spent the holiday week with Mrs. Clark's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Volney Vol-ney Boswell. Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Boswell spent Sunday and Monday in Rangely, Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Case were Christmas visitors at the Earl Case home. Christmas dinner guests at the1 Floyd Case home were Mr. and Mrs. Moyle Parker and family of American Fork, Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Morrell of Fremont, Mrs. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Sprouse and family of Roosevelt, and Miss Gayle Case. Mrs. (Peggy) Morrell Mor-rell remained with her parents until un-til Friday. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Arvil O. Stone, of Lehi, were Thursday visitors at the Floyd Case home. Mrs. Mary A. Case spent the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Gardner Gard-ner Goodrich in Bluebell. Mr. and . Mrs. Edward Crosby were dinner guests at the Fay Miles home in Mt. Home Christmas Christ-mas Day. Other guests Were Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Rogers and family, fam-ily, Earl Crosby, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Crozier and family, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. R. Evans and family and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Mech-am Mech-am and family. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Denver and family spent New Year's Day at the Marley Davies home in Duchesne. Du-chesne. They were Sunday visitors vis-itors in Ft. Duchesne. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Crozier and family, Mr and Mrs. Willard Mecham and family, Mr. and Mrs. Fay Miles and family and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Crosby were New Year's dinner guests at the Wm. R. Evans home in Mt. Emmons. Mr. and Mrs. Woodward Evans were weekend visitors in Vernal. Mrs. Evans spent Thursday with her mother, Mrs. Moosman, in Whiterocks. Lyle and Lila Gomm entertained entertain-ed a group of their young friends at a holiday party. The guests enjoyed en-joyed ice skating and some delicious deli-cious refreshments. Miss JoAnna LaRose, young daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ken LaRose, spent a few days with her great-great-grandmother, Mrs. Mary Harris, in Ft. Duchesne. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Hartman spent several days in Provo and Salt Lake during the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Floid Hartman visited with Mr. and Mrs. Vere Dastrup in Ogden during the holidays. hol-idays.
