Show Gusher Frances Semken Mrs. Robina Ferguson spent a few days with her daughter, Mrs. Virvel Blanchard, of Montwel during dur-ing the holidays. Neal Domgaard returned to school at Provo Sunday afternoon. after-noon. On Wednesday night, a reception recep-tion was' held in the ward chapel for the newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Knight. Mrs. Knight is , the former Jeanne Jensen. C. W. Bodily was taken to St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City, where he underwent an operation, Friday. Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Semken spent the holidays in Salt Lake City and Provo with their daughter daugh-ter and granddaughters. Mrs. Melvin Atwood and boys, of Artesia, Colo., spent Christmas with her mother, Mrs. Blanch Mc-Carrell. Mc-Carrell. Fred Schwobe was in Vernal on Christmas with his brother and family, Lester Schwobe. Harry Dahlberg, of the U. S. Navy, was home on leave for a couple of weeks, visiting his mother, moth-er, Mrs. Vonnie Dahlberg Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hatch, of Ballard, were callers at the Nick Pappas home. Mrs. Fred Peck and children have been visiting in Salt Lake the past two weeks. Mrs. Lydia Peatross is enjoying the holiday season visiting her sons and daughters in Salt Lake City and Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Walker and Miss Jean Walker came from Salt Lake City Saturday morning to spend the New Year weekend at the James Dalgleish home to help Mr. and Mrs. Dalgleish celebrate their thirty-seventh wedding anniversary anni-versary on January 1st Mrs. Del Combs of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart of Duchesne also called at the Dalgleish home on New Years. Mrs. Erma Harris, of Salt Lake City, was a visitor, Wednesday and Thursday, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson. The lovely new ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ross was completed in time for the Ross family to move in for Xmas. The Rosses have resided in Arcadia for many years and are now settled set-tled on their ranch in Pleasant Valley. Mrs. Rose Gilbert was a dinner guest, Sunday, at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ross in Pleasant Valley. Miss Joan Funk was a dinner guest, Sunday, at the" home of Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish, joining the R. C. Walker family, who were weekend guests. Dinner guests on New Years at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson were Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Bird and three daughters, of Arcadia; Ar-cadia; Mrs. Melvin Bird and family, fam-ily, of Roosevelt, and Mr. and Mrs. Clair Duncan and children, of Neola. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Davis and two daughters went to White-rocks White-rocks Sunday to visit at the home of Mr. Davis' brother, Melvin, who is quite ill. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson enjoyed a visit during the New Year's weekend from their son, Wm. Robinson and their daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. Cleone Sproul and Miss Faye Robinson, who came from Salt Lake City for the New Year's holiday. Mr. and Mrs. George Funk took their daughter, Joan, to Mt. Pleasant, Monday. She is a student stu-dent at the Wasatch Academy and had been home for the Christmas-New Christmas-New Year's vacation. |
