Show LAPOINT Mrs. Mable Jenkins CHRISTMAS PROGRAMS AT LAPOINT CHAPEL The teachers of Lapoint School, Mrs. Thelma Lee, Georgie Thompson, Thomp-son, Mrs. Cynthia Taylor and Tommy Freestone, put on the annual an-nual Christmas program at the ward chapel Wednesday evening, Dec. 22. Santa gave each child and parent candy and nuts. A very large crowd attended. The MIA gave a Christmas program Tuesday evening, Dec. 21 and a large crowd attended. FOSTER FAMILY HAS XMAS GET-TO-GETHER The children of Mr. and Mrs Hayden Foster who gathered at their home for Christmas holiday holi-day weekend were, Mr. and Mrs. Javens Foster, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Id-aho; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Foster, of Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. John War-die War-die and son, Forrest, of Sandy, and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Stell and family, of Rangely, Colo. Jack Jenkins accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Preece and family to Craig, Colo, to spend a few days, and also Mr. and Mrs. Frank W. Jenkins and family, of Oak Creek, Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Burton and family, of Roosevelt; Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hacking and daughter, Jennie Lee, of Hayden, were Christmas dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Burgess and family. Charm an Labrum, of Salt Lake City, was a guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Labrum and family on Christmas weekend. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Blackburn and Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Huber and family were last Sunday visitors vis-itors of Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Burgess Bur-gess and family. Jess Labrum is still ill in the Roosevelt Hospital with a heart ailment, where he has been the past ten days. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Vaughn and family, of Salt Lake City, are guests of Mrs. Jess Labrum and family. . Joyce Labrum spent Christmas in Salt Like City with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Vaughn and family. Joyce accompanied them home Monday evening. PARTY HELD AT THE WARBURTON HOME A house party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd War-burton, War-burton, Friday, Dec. 16. Those who were present were: Mr. and Mrs. Giggs Johnson and family, Mrs. Pearl Labrum and daughters, Joyce and Twila; Mr. and Mrs. Quince Johnson and son, Orsen, and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Perry. Games were played during the evening and a lunch was served. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Perry spent Christmas Eve with Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wahlquist and family in Vernal, and Christmas Day with a daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Jenkins Jen-kins and family, of Maeser, and a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Perry and family fam-ily of Lapoint. Orvill Swain is improving at his home in Lapoint after a car accident. Darrell Swain, of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Mowrey and Mrs. Orvill Swain. Mr. and Mrs. Loris Woolley and family were Vernal visitors Tuesday. They visited Mr and Mrs. Tom Abplanalp and family. Mrs. Pearl Woolley and grandson, Merlin Watkins accompanied them to their home in Lapoint. David Jenkins and daughter, Alice, were Roosevelt visitors on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Horrocks were Roosevelt visitors on Tuesday.. Roy Hatch, of Layton, is visiting visit-ing his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Horrocks, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Lannie Cook, of Deep Creek, were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Doyal Barney, Tuesday. Mrs. Arbia Dudley and daughters, daugh-ters, Jessie Mae and Frieda Ann, Mrs. Mary Taylor of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Phillips and children, chil-dren, and Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Oberhansly of Neola, spent Christmas Christ-mas holidays with Mr. and Mrs Fred Neumeyer and family. George Forakis, of St. George, is spending the Christmas holidays holi-days with his mother, Mrs. Afton Forakis and Mike Kartrinakis. George is attending Dixie College. Col-lege. Dr. and Mrs. Mathew Mansfield and son returned to Moab after spending the Christmas holidays with Mrs. Mansfield's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Golden Winn, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Don Davis and children,, of Vernal, Carol and Shorty Springer of Leeton, Mrs. Charlie Springer of Provo, and Bud Felter of Roosevelt, visited Mr. and Mrs. David Jenkins and family recently.
