Show Mrs. Elsie Bird VISITORS AT SHIELDS' HOME NEW YEARS The following were New Year's weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin G. Shields: Mrs. David Watkins, Paul and Kathleen of Roosevelt, Malcolm Walters, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Walters Wal-ters of Bridgeland, Mr. and Mrs. Wanless Shields, sons, Jerry and Gary of Bridgeland, Mrs. Gladys Capson, of Arcadia. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Judd, of Ruby Valley, Nevada; Mrs. Louie Sagers and son, of Cedar City, Utah; Mr. and Mrs. William J. Musser, of Murray; Mrs. Net Anderson, An-derson, of Grantsville; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ridgley, of Thistle, and Leonard Mecham, of Salt Lake City, attended funeral services ser-vices Thursday for Mrs. Aroetta Hale Holgate. Mr. and Mrs. S. O. Solomonson, of Roosevelt, visited Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird. Dinner guests New Year's Day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Mar-vin G. Shields were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Shields, Rosemary, Colleen and Lorraine of Roosevelt. Mrs. Lynn Ross came in from Salt Lake, where she has been with her husband in the L.D.S. Hospital. At this writing he is not improved very much. Mrs. Lurrine Duncan and children, chil-dren, of Neola, visited Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Char-lie Bird. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Peel and girls spent Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Lusty. The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Gam Gilbert was taken to the Roosevelt Hospital Tuesday where he received medical treatment. He was able to be brought home Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Smith, of Provo, visited New Year's at the( homes of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird, De-on, De-on, Delaine and Mildred Bird were New Year's dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Em-ery Nielson of Myton. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Shields spent a few days in Salt Lake during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Hamilton, of Tooele, and Mr. and Mrs. Sharon Shar-on Holgate, of Salt Lake, attended attend-ed funeral services, Thursday, for Mrs. Aroetta Hale Holgate. Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate were New Year's dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Walters in Bridgeland. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird, De-on De-on and Mildred Bird visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen in Mt. Emmons, Wednesday Wednes-day evening. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Thompson, son, Gary, were New Year's dinner din-ner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Molton in Myton. ' The Genealogical committee presented a very interesting program pro-gram Sunday. Don Hicken, of Salt Lake City, visited New Year's Day at the home of Miss Mildred Bird. |
