Show TRIDELL Mrs. Lorna McKee Missionaries Are Honored At Party Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Merrell were honored at a party and shower held at the DeVon Mc-Kee Mc-Kee home Monday night. Bunco was played with high honors going go-ing to Craig Ross and Joan Ross receiving the booby prize. The Merrells left for their home in Bountiful Wednesday. They will enter the mission home on the 5th of January prior to their departure de-parture to the Central States mission. mis-sion. Mrs. Nellie Merkley, who lives in Logan, is visiting at the home of her , son and his family, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Merkley. Esther Harvey returned home Thursday after visiting several days in Rangely with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Workman and family. Mrs. Workman returned with her. Mrs. Glenn Warren is visiting in Orem with the Marvin Olson family. Mrs. Olson, the former Kathleen Warren, is rejoicing over the arrival of a new daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Davis Morrill and Mr. and Mrs. Blayne Morrill and son, Stuart, were dinner guests at the home of the Lyle Morrills in Roosevelt Sunday. The Tridell ward MIA sponsored spon-sored a New Year's Eve dance Friday night. Horns, blow-out, serpentine, confetti and hats all helped to bring the New Year in with a bang. The genealogical committee presented pre-sented the Sunday night conjoint program. The ward teachers and the bishopric made their annual visit to all the homes in the ward during dur-ing the week. Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Goodrich and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Goodrich went to Salt Lake Monday. Reed, who is in the Navy, will then go on train to San Francisco and sail from there to Guam, where he will be stationed for some time. H. LeRoy Morrill and son, Brent and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Haslem left Sunday for Pocatello, Idaho, to attend the funeral of Judy Morrill, Mor-rill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Morrill. Mrs. LeRoy Morrill Mor-rill left Saturday on the bus for Pocatello where she will also attend at-tend the funeral of her granddaughter, grand-daughter, Judy. Burial will be in Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Laren Ross left Saturday for Bountiful to visit with their children. While there they will attend the testimonial of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Merrell. Mr Ross is to be one of the speakers. Brent Morrill, who is stationed at Fort Ord, Calif., is home on a short furlough. Mrs. Bob Benson took her small daughter to Vernal Wednesday for medical attention. ' Mrs. Carma Cook and daughters daugh-ters were Visitors at the Duane McKee home during the week. A large crowd attended the show, "Drums Along the Mohawk," Mo-hawk," Tuesday night. This show was sponsored by the Special Interest In-terest class in behalf of the building fund. The Ivan Rosses of Little Bonanza, Bon-anza, were visitors in Tridall Saturday. Sat-urday. The Grover Dyes were visitors at the Reed McKee home Monday night. |
