Show Hew Chamber Of Commerce Director lamed Directors of the Roosevelt Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce, Tuesday, heard a number of reports from various committees; appointed a new director di-rector and approved the cost of printing a brochure to be circulated circu-lated as a publicity piece, to be distributed to tourists and visitors to this area. In the absence of the president and vice-president, Ken Aycock conducted the regular monthly meeting and reported the finance committee collected $173 to aid the Community Christmas committee's commit-tee's program. Lawrell Jensen, principal of the Roosevelt Junior High School, was named a director direc-tor to fill the unexpired term of Merrell Wilkins, who resigned. He will serve until the end of the fiscal year, June 30. Merlin Sullivan, chairman of the Highway and Roads committee, commit-tee, reported on a drive being instigated in-stigated by the Highway 40 Association As-sociation to get the route established estab-lished as a part of the Federal Bureau of Roads, thus being considered con-sidered for a proposed military highway that will come through Utah He also reported on a meeting meet-ing with the state legislators from Duchesne County held Monday, in which legislative matters were considered.
