Show All Quiet At Bluebell Unit No oil shows were in evidence last week at the Bluebell Unit No. 1, SW NE, Sec. 6-1S-2W, despite several coring and drill stem tests. Nothing spectacular was recovered anvwhere. As of Monday, the crew was coring at 9,340 feet. Earlier it had cored at 9,109-58 feet, recovering re-covering 49 feet of shale and sand, and cored at 9,158-70 feet, recovering 12 feet of shale with some sand. A drill stem test at 9,094-9,194 9,094-9,194 feet, open 40 minutes, with a slight blow for ten minutes, min-utes, recovered 19,0 feet fif mud, no pil shows. The crew then cored at 8,245-91 feet, recovering recover-ing 46 feet of sand and shale, and cored at 9,291-9,326 feet, recovering 35 feet of sand and shale. .,. , A drill stem test, 9,206-9,326 feet, open one and one-half hours, slight, blow throughout, recovered 185 feet of mud, no shows. The Strawberry reservoir crew, as of Monday, were at a total depth of 3,985 feet, reaming ream-ing at 2,473 feet. |
