Mrs. Ollea Schonian and Mrs. Titus Jones, of Duchesne, called on Mrs. W. G. Gentry Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Vern Edwards, of Myton, called on friends here Wednesday. E. L. Murphy, of Upalco, was in town Friday on business. Mrs. Myrtle Nelson left Wednesday Wed-nesday to spend several months in California. Mrs. Isabell Hardman will serve as a petit juror at district court at Duchesne this week. Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gentry Thursday evening were Mrs. Roy Batchelor, Mrs. Dale Pace, Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jones, Denver, and Howard How-ard Jones, loka. Mrs. William Linck,' of Myton, My-ton, visited here Friday. Mrs. Milliam Fausett is caring car-ing for her grandchildren while their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Craig Caldwell are vacationing in Oregon. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Percival and family returned home Tuesday Tues-day after spending a week with Mrs. Perclvals parents while having some work done on their home. Paul Lemon, Garrett Stone and William Stone called on John A. Angus, Sunday. Maurice Benson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson returned return-ed to Davenport, Iowa, last week, where he is attending the Palmer School of Chiropractic. Charlyn Stone has enrolled for training at the LDS Business college in Salt Lake City. Paul Lemon is attending a barber bar-ber college. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Whitmore took their daughter, who broke her leg, to Salt Lake where it was necessary to operate and put in pins te hold the bones in place. Mr. and Mrs. Fuller Merrell and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Merrell, Mer-rell, of Vernal, and Wallace Merrell, of OrderviHe, Calif., visited relatives here Monday. |
