Show Legion, Auxiliary Install Hew Officers At Myton MYTON The American Legion Le-gion and Auxiliary, Wm. R. Sands Post and Unit 5, installed their recently elected officers, Friday evening, Sept. 8. The Legion meeting, held at the American Legion barracks, was ' in charge of Vice-Commander Blaine Brokaw, with District Commander Wm. Sut-teer, Sut-teer, of Ft. Duchesne, installing the following officers: Blaine Brokaw, commander; A. C. Tol-boe,- 1st vice commander; Reed Peterson, 2nd vice commander; Milton Lott, adjutant; George Wedig, sergeant-at-arms; Wm. R. Harris, chaplain. The Auxiliary meeting was conducted at the Wm. R. Harris Har-ris home by President Odie Hemphill, with District President Presi-dent Clista Angus, of Roosevelt, installing officers as follows: Florence Lott, president; Sarah Nielson, 1st vice president; Virginia Vir-ginia Todd, 2nd vice president; Odie Hemphill, secretary-treasurer; Gladys Harris, sergeant-at-arms; Lydia Peatross, chaplain; chap-lain; Jennie Tuttle, child welfare wel-fare chairman. A very interesting report was presented by Velma Brummett, Girls State representative of this unit. At the close of .the meeting both groups joined in a social session, with a delicious lunch served to members of the Post and Unit and five guests, District Dis-trict Commander and Mrs. Wm. Sutteer, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Curtis, Ft. Duchesne; and District Dis-trict President Clista Angus, Roosevelt. |
