Show Nolan Lamberts Die In California Highway Accident Nolan Lambert, 24, and his wife, Mrs. Gloria Lambert, of Roosevelt, were fatally injured Tuesday night near Dixon, California, Cal-ifornia, when the motorcycle on which they were riding was struck from behind by a truck. Investigating officers classed the fatal collision as an unavoidable unavoid-able accident. The couple were on their way from Oakland, Calif., to Salt Lake City, where, members of the family believe, Mr. Lambert was going to seek work. At the time of the trip he had been employed in Oakland Oak-land for several months. Mr. Lambert was born Jan. 29, 1926, in Rooseyelt, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Lambert. Lam-bert. He received his education at the Roosevelt elementary and high school, and received a degree de-gree in July, 1947, from the Salt Lake Barber college. On March 4, 1944, he married Elva Maude Holgate, Arcadia, in Duchesne. The couple were divorced in 1947. Two children were born from the marriage, Carolyn, 5, and Twilla, 4, both of Roosevelt. Mr. Lambert married Gloria Thompson, daughter of Mrs. Lawrence Wall, Jr., Randlett, and Elmer Thompson, Richfield. Mr. Lambert is survived by his two children, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Lambert, Roosevelt; one sister, Mrs. Marion Mar-ion E. Caldwell, Oakland, Calif.; and two brothers, Arthur E., Berkley, Calif., and Clarence DeVoe Lambert, Roosevelt. Mrs. Gloria Lambert was born Feb. 18, 1933, at Teasdale, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs Elmer Thompson. She attended Avalon elementary elemen-tary school, Randlett, and Al-terra Al-terra high school. . - She is survived by her two step-children; her parents, Mr.. Thompson and Mrs. Wall; a step-father, Mr. Wall; a stepbrother step-brother and sister, John and Patricia Pa-tricia Wall, Randlett; and two grandparents, Mrs. Annie Allen, Al-len, Teasdale, and Mrs. Delila Hancock, Richfield. |
