Show Llyton . Mrs. Grace Dalgleish Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Fouse, of Arcadia, Mrs. P. W. Fouse, of Salt Lake City, and her daughter, Miss Ethel Fouse, of Los Angeles, Calif., visited Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish Tuesday Tues-day afternoon. Miss Fouse, a nurse, recently returned from Florida, where she was caring for a patient, and visited her mother in Salt Lake City prior to their trip to Arcadia to visit her brother and family. Mr. and Mrs. Garland Reed, Mrs. James Hamilton, Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Warr and Mrs. Richard Hamilton attended the funeral of their aunt, Miss Susie Vaughn, at Kamas, Monday. They were accompanied by Mrs. Burns McKowan and Mr. and Mrs. Willard. Ethridge, of Roosevelt. Roos-evelt. Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Thorne and Mrs. Thome's mother, Mrs. Ola Hansen, of Pleasant Grove, visited friends in Myton Wednesday Wed-nesday evening when enroute to Roosevelt to attend the wedding wed-ding receptioa of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Roberts. The bride, the former Barbara Jean Russon, is Mrs. Thome's niece. Mr. and Mrs. Thorne were both teachers in the Myton elementary school for several years before moving to Pleasant Grove. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Roberts attended the Russon - Roberts wedding reception in Roosevelt Wednesday evening. The groom is Mr. Roberts' nephew. James Dalgleish installed the newly elected officers of the American Legion, Basin Post 64, at Roosevelt, Wednesday evening. Weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Taylor were their daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Carl Thompson,' Thomp-son,' of Pleasant Grove. Miss Nancy Todd and Miss Nina Babcock spent Friday till Sunday at Wasatch Academy, Mt. Peasant, where they attended attend-ed the Class of 1948 reunion. They were accompanied by Miss Dorothy Stone, of Ft. Duchesne, also a member of the class of '48. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence By-water, By-water, of Salt Lake City visited Sunday with Mr. Bywater's mother, Mrs. J. R. Bywater, and with Mrs. Bywater's grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Broome. A member of the reserves, re-serves, Mr. Bywater will soon be called into service. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Krebs, Jr., and small daughter were weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Crapo. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Harris, who visited at the Crapo home and also with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Harris. Mr. and Mrs. David Tanner are enjoying a visit from their son and daughter-in-law, Master Sgt. and Mrs. Blaine Tanner and small son, who are here from Sacramento, Calif. Howard Davenport Jr. returned re-turned Thursday evening from a months vacation in Los Angeles. An-geles. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Cooper and family left Sunday to make their home in Salt Lake City. During their absence, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Mathison and children chil-dren will reside in the Cooper home. Miss Frances Funk left Sunday Sun-day for Salt Lake City, where she will visit friends and enjoy city life. Mrs. Kenneth Tinsley and son, Tommie, who have been visiting visit-ing her mother, Mrs. Bliss Lott, left last week to return to their home in Los Angeles. Mrs. Lott went as far as Salt Lake with them, where they spent a day before continuing on to Calif., while Mrs. Lott returned to Myton. |
