Show IHch tuel- fticharct Colleen Blanchard MIA Groups Have Hobo Party Mar. 6 Last Wednesday evening, the Junior Gleaners, Junior M-Men, Explorers and Mia-Maids gathered gath-ered at the meeting house for a hobo party The evening was passed playing games. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served. Adult advisers were Mr. and Mrs. Melvon Parry and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Blanchard.' Lynford Mitchell was released re-leased Sunday as a counselor in the Mutual and Melvon Parry was sustained to take his place. Mrs. Virvel Blanchard and Mrs. Lee Blanchard visited in Gusher and Vernal last Wednesday. Wednes-day. Mrs. Lela Gagon returned from Vernal with them to spend a few days. The Montwel Relief Society held its meeting Tuesday. The theology lesson was given by Mrs. Golda Adams. A group gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Parley Alexander Alex-ander last Friday night to practice prac-tice a play they will present at the M.I.A. Drama Night. Mrs. Alexander served light refreshments re-freshments to Ruth and Del-mar Del-mar Hamblin, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Blanchard and Lynn and Arvin Hullinger. Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday evening were Virvel Vir-vel Blanchard, Parley Alexander Alexan-der and George Hunt. Arlene Parry sang a solo. James Hamblin Jr. spent a day or two' at home with his Barents. Sunday his father, Bishop Hamblin took him back to the Salt Lake L.D.S. Hospital, Hos-pital, where he has been under treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thompson Thomp-son were dinner guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Brown. Mrs. Eldoris Fenn made a trit to Salt Lake last week. Mrs. Mary Hamblin returned recently from Mt. Home, where she had been visiting Mrs. Nyla Draper. Mrs. Draper returned with her to spend a few days. Bill Hamblin returned from Salt Lake last week, where he had spent a few days. |
