Show John A. Walkup Killed In Oil Rig Accident Funeral services were being ; planned today for John A. Walkup, Wal-kup, 32, oil worker on a pressure pres-sure pump in the Red Wash ' field 30 miles southeast of Vernal, Ver-nal, who was killed instantly about 11:30 a. m. Wednesday when a control valve on a pressure pres-sure pump blew off and struck him in the head. He had been working at the field about three months. He is survived by his widow, I four children, John Albert, I George W., Shelia Frances and Irwin Walkup. Vernal; his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. George Walkup, Whiterocks; a brother. Gene Walkup, Roosevelt; and four sisters, Mrs. Thora Yack. Roosevelt; Mrs. Wilma Robb and Georgia Walkup, White-rocks; White-rocks; and Mrs. Fern Collett, Arizona. |
