Show sd(tonali Mrs. Ethel Beeb Rites Held For Mary Bowden Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Amanda Bowden, 77, were held Nov. 27, at 1 p.m. in the Altonah ward chapel, with Claude Murray conducting. Prelude and postlude music was by Mrs. Lucy Jacob-son; Jacob-son; trio, "Sometime We'll Understand,", Under-stand,", by Mrs. Verna Allred, Mrs. Margaret Reay and Mrs. Norma Jessen, with Lucy acob-son acob-son at the piano; invocation, Devon De-von Foote; solo, "That Wonderful Mother of Mine," Betty Foote, with Mrs. Elva Snyder, accompanist; accom-panist; speaker, Dr. R. V. Larson; solo, "Good Night Here, Good Morning There," Arlon Pope, with Mrs. Snyder accompanist; speaker, Glen Mohlman; "History of Mary Bowden," Jesse Jacobson; imarks by Claude Murray; trio, "Beyond the Sunset," Altonah trio; benediction, benedic-tion, Odell Foote. The grave was dedicated by Lloyd Foote. Burial was in the Altonah cemetery. Pallbearers were Lionel Bowden, Oliver Bowden, Charley Bowden, Clinton Bowden, Louie Bowden and Ronald Foote. The large crowd and many beautiful flowers showed the love and respect of the Bowden family. Mr. and Mrs. Fenton Powell took Jim Timothy to Duchesne, Monday, for medical - care. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Clark, of Meeker, Colo., were visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E. Clark last week. Mrs. Lizzie Winward and son, Carl, of Covina, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Winward and daughters, of Vernal, were Sunday guests, Nov. 28th, of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe. Mrs. Lizzie Winward Win-ward and Mrs. Beebe are sisters. Lester Maxfield accompanied Floyd Case of Mt. Emmons to Mt. Home Sunday, where they attended at-tended Sunday School and Sacrament Sacra-ment meeting. Delar Maxfield, who is employed employ-ed in Salt Lake City, was home visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Linford Maxfield, over Thanksgiving Thanks-giving weekend. Guests at the home of Mrs. Elva Snyder on Thanksgiving Day and during the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Ruford Hill and family, of Duchesne; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Snyder and sons and Albert Snyder, Sny-der, of Springville; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Snyder and daughter, of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Al-bert Potts and daughters, of Upal-co; Upal-co; Ted Snyder, of Tooele; Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Jacobson and family and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Snyder and family. Eldora Clark was a speaker at Sacrament meeting in Mt. Emmons Em-mons Sunday night, Nov. 28. Mrs. Wanda Allred, of Upalco, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Allred several days during the week. She visited Sunday Sun-day School, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Johansen and family, of Gooding, Idaho, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wirthlin and fam- ily . of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Ames and baby, of Upalco, were Thanksgiving and weekend visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Ames. Willis Potter, high councilman of Talmage, was a visitor at Sunday Sun-day School and Sacrament meeting, meet-ing, Sunday. Gilbert Chatwin and Wallace Chatwin, of Tabiona, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Clark Monday. Glade Timothy, who is employed employ-ed in Meeker, Colo., spent Thanksgiving Thanks-giving with his family. Thursday evening, Mrs. Timothy and family fam-ily accompanied him to Colorado and spent several days with him in Meeker, and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Berrett in Rangely, Colo. Mrs. Timothy and family returned home Tuesday. |
