Show NEIGHBORHOOD SEWING Neighborhood Sewing Club members convened at the home of Miss Dicia Emert Tuesday evening for a social hour of visiting and sewing. A tasty dessert luncheon was served to the nine in attendance, atten-dance, Mr, and Mrs. Harold Timothy and twins, Bruce and Brent, returned re-turned home Tuesday night from a week's trip to California. They took Mr. Timothy's father, Wallace, Wal-lace, to San Leandro, where he-will he-will visit with his daughter, Mrs. Max Moore, and family and recuperate re-cuperate from an operation undergone under-gone recently. Connie Timothy of Sandy just returned from a week's trip to Kanab, where she joined her sister and brother-in-law, Bettys and Murray Harrison. They then went to Las Vegas and spent a few days with Murray's aunt, taking in the sights there. Ruben Broderick, son of Mrs. Crystal Broderick, left last week to report to Fort Douglas, after enlisting in the U. S. armed service. ser-vice. Miss Dawn Broderick has gone to Grassy Lake in Alberta, Canada, Cana-da, where she is tending children for her aunt, who is teaching school. |
