Congratulations Mayor Murphy and the council on the ambitious way you are trying to keep our new Main Street clean. Now all we've got to do is to influence in-fluence a few fellows to buy a broom and use it on their own sidewalk and gutter. .-co--It occurs to me that all these colorful new cars are much like our colorful American girls the one standing before me at any moment is the prettiest I ever Saw. --co--WHILE I WAS IN Duchesne the other day I observed City Marshall Harold Thomas driving a brand new Ford Police car which the city had purchased. . . Marshall Marsh-all Thomas does a fine job of law enforcement at Duchesne and most certainly has the support of the mayor and council behind him. i . . c o - - LOCAL SPORTSMAN Albert Crumbo has been endorsed 'by the Roosevelt Chamber of Com-mercej Com-mercej American Legion and other organizations for appointment appoint-ment to the State Fish and Game Commission Board. . . Governor Lee has acknowledged the resolutions reso-lutions and says he'll give his friend Albert full consideration when filling the vacancy. . . If any individuals would like to help Albert's chances, write the Governor a note telling him your desires. --co-- Then there's the story about the Texan whose check came back from the bank, marked "Insufficient "In-sufficient Funds. . .
