Show Mrs. Garda Seeley Teachers - Priests Enjoy Party A teachers-priests party was held Wednesday night at the ward chapel. Each month a contest is held to see which side gets their ward teaching finished' and then the losers treat the winners to a party. In attendance were: Shana Lee Winkler, Janet Seeley, Dor-thella Dor-thella Murray, Jay, Drew and Bob Goodrich, Elsie and Barbara Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Orie Cook, Bishop and Mrs. Earl Murray, Gene Barrett, Bar-rett, Kenneth Bird, Mrs. Alta Bird, Lynn Cook, and Jerry Bird. The evening was spent playing games and then ice cream and cookies were served to all. Mrs. Mary Merrell has gone to Duchesne to stay with her son, Porter, and family, Mrs. Porter Merrell has been ill but is slowly getting better, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Lisonbee, Daphine and Jay, went to American Ameri-can Fork to witness the blessing and naming of their grandson, Myron L. Conder. Proud parents are Mr. and Mrs. Keith Conder of American Fork, f Jay Goodrich, Larmie Bird and Phil Mathews were among the number of Altamont basketball boys who participated in a recent tour of South Emery. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Guice and two children of Salt Lake City visited at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Allred and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Powell, over the weekend. week-end. Mrs. Marva Fenn and son. Vance, of Roosevelt, visited a few lays during the week here with heT parents, Mr. ana Mrs. uvun Atwood. Lorin Goodrich took Marian Barrett Bar-rett to Salt Lake City Saturday where he will receive medical treatment, Marian was suffering severe pains in his back. Mrs. Barrett accompanied her husband to Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Stone and daughter, Myrle, and her son, David of Lehi, visited on Saturday Satur-day with Mrs. Stone's brothers and families, and in Mt. Emmons with her sister, Mrs. Floyd Case Mr. and Mrs. Dell Larsen and Mrs. Mary Bigelow of Salt Lake City visited on Thursday and Friday Fri-day here with Mr. and Mrs. James W. Powell and in Mt, Emmons with old friends. They also attended at-tended funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Orr at Mt. Emmons. Mrs. Lucy Timotny ana iwu little girls and Mrs. Vivian Powell and , daughter, June, went to Salt Lake City on Friday to attend the wedding of Dixie Larsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dell Larsen. While there they will visit relatives rela-tives before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. John Cook and Wayne Cook visited Sunday with relatives in Bluebell. The Cooks live in Ballard, . Mr. and Mrs. Sam Jenkins and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Bird went to Vernal on Saturday evening to visit with Mr. and Mrs. James Adams Ad-ams and Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Kurtz and families. The Adams just recently moved into a beautiful beau-tiful now home. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Goodrich and two boys and Mr. and Mrs. R, G. Lisonbee and baby of Salt Lake' City visited during the week with Kenneth's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Goodrich. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Reese and two children of Murray spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Norman Nor-man Thomas. Mr. and Mrs. John Goodrich and Carolyn and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Goodrich spent Sunday visiting with relatives in Bonanza. |
