Show HONORED AT PARTY Honoring Mrs. Neill Jensen, who will leave soon for her new home in Duchesne, a party was held in the Relief Society room last Wednesday Wed-nesday evening. Games and delicious deli-cious refreshments were enjoyed by fifty-two ward members. A quilt was made and presented to Mrs. Jensen, who has served as a teacher in the MIA, Primary, Jr. Sunday School and as secretary to the Relief Society during the time she has lived here. Mrs. Lee Jensen has been teaching teach-ing during part of last week for Mrs. Thad Wilkerson, who has been ill. Four local grandparents were made happy last Thursday when they received news of a grandson, bom to Mr. and Mrs. Don Horrocks Hor-rocks of Logan, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Harrison and Mr. and Theron Horrocks are adding the new arrival to their list of descendants. des-cendants. The Harrisons left last Sunday for Logan, where Mrs. Harrison will visit for a few days. Mrs. Emma Oberhansly entertained enter-tained the twelve members of the Progressive Club at her home last Wednesday afternoon. A beautiful satin and velvet quilt was made for the hostess, who also received the picture' painted by Mrs. Vera Gardner of Roosevelt. A delicious luncheon was served to the members mem-bers and also special guests, Laura Gardner and Jennie' Woodward. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Dutson of Leamington, spent the weekend here with the Merrill Dutson family. |
