Show Our Boys In The Service LEWIS R. TAYLOR FORT CARSON, COLO. Sgt. Lewis R. Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy L. Taylor, Bridgeland, Utah, recently participated in a parachute jump over Fort Carson, Colo., as part of "Exercise Lodestar Lode-star Baker." Lewis parachuted in full battle gear with units of the 77th Special Forces Group Airborne, regularly stationed at Fort Bragg, N. C. A light weapons leader in the group, he entered the Army in February, 1951, and served in the Korean conflict. Lewis completed his basic training at Fort Riley, Kansas. He attended Roosevelt High School. |
