Show FAREWELL 'PARTY IS HELD AT FT. DUCHESNE Norman Holme's was honored guest at a farewell party which was held in Ft, Duchesne last Thursday evening. Mr. Holmes left Monday for Anadarco, Okla., where he will work for the Indian Agency there. Attending the party from Neola besides the Holmes family were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Oberhansly. A new family was welcomed into in-to this community last week when Mr. and Mrs. Glade Neilson, who recently purchased the Neil Jensen Jen-sen residence, moved into their new home'. Mr. Neilson is a teacher teach-er in Roosevelt. Mr. and' Mrs. Harold Whiting are elated over the arrival of a new grandson, who came' to gladden glad-den Mr. and Mrs, Fairon Smith of Boston, Mass. Mrs. Smith will be rememhered as the former Car olyn Whiting. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Duncan and family motored to Duchesne last Friday. Primary visitors .last Tuesday from the stake board we're Geniel Jensen, Betty Hancock, Veola. Harrison Har-rison and VeLois Morrill. Parents of prospective Cub Scouters met at the chapel last Thursday to discuss the abvisabil-ity abvisabil-ity of introducing the program in this ward. James E. Bacon, of the Scout committee; Irene Henrie, ward Primary president; and Lee Jensen, representing the bishopric, were in attendance to explain the plan and answer questions relative rela-tive to the requirements. Parents also attended the meeting which was held in Roosevelt last Saturday Satur-day evening. |
