Show Mrs. Garda Seeley Music Committee Church Speakers The Moon Lake stake Music Committee were guest speakers in Sacrament meeting Sunday. They were Hugo' Mitchell, of Upalco; Sherral Ames, of Alton-ah; Alton-ah; Lucille Winkler, Thelma Cook and Gardner Goodrich, of Bluebell. The group also sang a quartet, "Great God, to Thee My Evening Song," accompanied accompan-ied by Sherral Ames. JoAnn Goodrich sang a solo, "I Know My Heavenly Father Knows." Mrs. Lydia Hancock was called to Roosevelt to be with her mother, who hay an infection infec-tion in her toe. Mrs. Sadie Dennis, of Win-namucca, Win-namucca, Nevada, visited here during the week with her sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Sylvia, Zella and Mina Goodrich. Mrs. Zella Goodrich was tak- en to' the Roosevelt Hospital on Saturday of last week for medical med-ical treatment. She remained there for eight days. Mrs. Myrtle Lambert, of Roosevelt Roos-evelt visited on Sunday here with her son, Keith, and family. Ira B. Cannon, of Salt Lake City, visited on Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Goodrich. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Powell and three children, of Midvale, were last weekend guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Powell and Mr. and Mrs. Claud Allred. Word comes from Salt Lake City of the birth of a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Guise. Mrs. Guise will be remembered as the former Doris Allred. They also have a boy. Mr. and Mrs. Claud Allred are proud grandparents. grand-parents. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Duke, of Provo, were weekend visitors at the U. B. Winkler home. BOY SCOUT GROUPS FILL REQUIREMENTS Nineteen Boy Scouts and their leader spent Saturday hiking hik-ing in order to pass some of their tests. They had to hike for five miles. They also cooked their dinner. The boys enjoying the day's activties were: Drew Goodrich, Phil Mathews. Ralph Goodrich, Dal Seeley, Kent Remington, Larry Lisonbee.Bil-lie Lisonbee.Bil-lie Whitehead, Kent Williams, Garth Remington, Slade Mathews, Math-ews, Jerry Lambert, Lynn Cook, Phil Remington, Michael Lison-bee, Lison-bee, Paul Monson, Calvin Powell. Pow-ell. Brent Hancock, Gene Barrett, Bar-rett, Keith Roberts and Scout Leader Reed Anderson. BIRTHDAY PARTY Chad Winkler was the honored honor-ed guest at a birthday party on Wednesday at his home. The following guests helped him celebrate cel-ebrate his 11th birthday: Paul Whitehead, Kirk Larsen, LaRee Larsen, Jeanne Seeley, Jean Remington, Morris Goidrich, El-don El-don Monsen, Lloyd Murray, Kent Williams, Mary Lee Lison-bee, Lison-bee, Edgar Cook, a lovely supper, sup-per, topped with cake and icecream ice-cream finished the evening. Mrs. Lila Gale has gone to Vernal to stay with her granddaughter, grand-daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Turner, and family. |
