Show IHHTEROCKS Madeena Smith Cottage Meeting Ends With Party A cottage meeting was held at the Thomas LaRose home on Wednesday by Missionaries Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Merkley and Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Brough. After Af-ter the meeting the LaRose family fam-ily and Duite Copperfield family fam-ily surprised the missionaries with a party. Films were shown by Duite, of the Sun, Bear and Turkey dances, and other pictures pic-tures taken by him. Cake and icecream were served. Petro Forakis and family, of Salt Lake City, visited over the weekend at the home of J. O. Hoops. Wallace Twitchell visited his daughter, Enid Montes, and family fam-ily in Ogden a few days this Miss Lorna Oberhansely fell off a low stack of hay and broke her arm. Saturday afternoon. BIRTHDAY PARTY A birthday party for Bill and Stanley Hoops was held at the Bill Hoops' home on Saturday. The families of Stanley, J. O. Hoops. Leland Moosman, Eldon Anderton and Petro Forakis, of Salt Lake City, enjoyed games and a delicious lunch. Mrs. Edith Oberhansley, Mildred Mil-dred Moosman and Madenna Smith attended the Cancer school held in Vernal, Friday. Mrs. Lela Anderton and son, Chad, returned to their home in Tooele, on Sunday, after a two-weeks' visit with home folks. They returned with Mr. and Mrs. Petro Forakis. Mr. and Mrs. Don Simmons and son, Clay, visited at the Elbert El-bert Smith home on Thursday. FUNERAL .HELD The funeral of Anna Cutch was held at the Episcopal church S on Friday. Dr. H. W. Marrs was i in -charge of the services. Francis Crozier made a business busi-ness trip to Ft. Duchesne on Saturday. |
