Show News Briefs From Neighboring . . . NEOLA By Lecla Horrocks !; A New Son A new son made his arrival at the Don Horrocks household on Jan. 6th, via the Roosevelt Hospital. Hos-pital. He will answer to the name of Craig D. Sunday visitors at the Lester Gardner home were Mr. and Mrs. Max Gardner, of Roosevelt, and Mr. and Mrs. Ethan Nealson of Vernal. Mr. and Mrs. LaVell Horrocks, Hor-rocks, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Davis and Mr. and Mrs. Theron Horrocks attended the wedding reception of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Low-ell Glines, which was held in Vernal last Saturday evening. Mrs. Ivan Duncan returned home recently, after spending two' weeks in Salt Lake City at the home of her son. Edwin. Mrs. Bertha Angus, of Long Beach. Calif., is visiting at the W. H. Coltharp home. Mrs. Angus An-gus and Mr. Coltharp are cousins. cou-sins. Mrs. Zina Mecham, of Orem, is visiting here with relatives. She was called here by the illness ill-ness of her father, Peter Duncan. Dun-can. Mrs. Jerry Powell and daughter, daugh-ter, of Duchesne, visited at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delias Spencer. Mrs. Alta Kimball, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, was a Sunday visitor at the home of her sister, Mrs. James O. Peterson. SHOWER PLANNED A shower for Mrs. Paul Roberts, Rob-erts, the former Jennalee Keel, will be held in the Relief Society So-ciety rooms Saturday, Jan. 16, at 2 p.m. All ladies of the ward are invited. Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Gardner, of Salt Lake City, visited relatives rela-tives in Neola last week. Mrs. Martena Jensen, mother of Mrs. Gardner, returned home with them, where she willstay for a few days. |
