Show Mrs. Elsie Bird Attend Church Meetings Sunday Those who attended Priesthood Priest-hood meeting in Duchesne, Sunday, Sun-day, were: Garn Gilbert, Chad Evans, Thomas M. Gilbert, Warden War-den Olsen, Charlie Bird, James Larsen and Clarence Horrocks. Mrs. Lurrine Duncan and children, of Neola, spent Saturday Satur-day at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird. Leon Ross, of Provo. spent the weekend with his folks, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ross. A group from here attended the basketball game at Union High Saturday night between Arcadia-Bridgeland M Men and Union High, with the M Men as the winners. W. W. McConkie delivered a 4-H calf to' Lynn Lamar Ross during the week. Scott Lusty, Lois Terpening, Gladys Capson and Donna Larsen Lar-sen attended M.I. A. Leadership meeting at Duchesne, Thursday night. . Mr. and Mrs. Milt Larsen received re-ceived word, Sunday morning, Jan. 10, of a new grandson, born to Mr. and Mrs. Myron Mower, at the Rposevelt Hospital. Hos-pital. Guests Sunday - at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross were Mr. and Mrs. Gwen Bodily, of Provo; Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Whiting, Whit-ing, of Orem; Mr. and Mrs. Bud Odle and Mrs. Cynthia Massey, of Vernal. IN HOSPITAL Mrs. Charlie Bird was taken to the Roosevelt Hospital Thursday, Thurs-day, where she received treatment. treat-ment. She was able to return home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen and children visited Sunday evening eve-ning at the home of Mr. Hansen's Han-sen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyndon Lyn-don Hansen, at Altamont. Mrs. Gladys Ross, Mrs. Golda Jensen, Mrs. Gladys Capson, Mrs. Betty Evans, Mrs. Ida Horrocks, Mrs. Celia Gilbert. Mrs. Ora Holgate and Mrs Marion Mar-ion S. Shields attended Relief Society convention at Duchesne. Sunday. |
