Show BRIDGELAND Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee Bridgeland DUP Has Jan. Meeting The Daughters of the Utah Pioneers of Bridgeland and Arcadia Ar-cadia held their January meeting, meet-ing, Thursday at the home of Mrs. Reed Stansfield with Mrs. Ethel Taylor as co-hostess. The lesson was presented by Golda Jensen. A lovely desert luncheon lunch-eon was served and gifts exchanged. ex-changed. The following ladies were present: Mrs. Celia Gilbert, Gil-bert, Mrs. Lois Terpening, Mrs. LaVerna Lusty, Mrs. Margaret Ross, Mrs. Marion Shields, Mrs. Deane Call, Mrs. Ora Holgate, Mrs. Vera Larsen, Grandma Holgate, Hol-gate, who is ninety years old, and one of the few old pioneers of the Basin; Mrs. Hazel Walters, Wal-ters, Mrs. Elva Lisonbee, Mrs. Ethel Taylor and the hostess, Lois Stansfield. Mr. and Mrs. Mirl Jennings spent Sunday at Bluebell visiting visit-ing their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Williams. Wil-liams. Mrs. Edith Brady and Mrs. Emma Lu Lisonbee visited Mon-1 day in Vernal. : The finance committee sponsored spon-sored a basket dance Saturday evening to raise funds for the ward building fund. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Neilson and boys went to Salt Lake, Friday, to get some furnishings for their new home. They returned re-turned Saturday. The two small children of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Young, of Mt. Emmons, visited their grandparents while their parents par-ents were in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Brady and Elden Brady were Salt Lake City visitors last Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ross, of Arcadia, visited Sunday evening eve-ning with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Sherwood Lisonbee Lis-onbee and small daughter, Kim, of Roosevelt, visited with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Cummings, of Upalco, visited one day last week with Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Barker. (Late For Last Week) Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Don Shelton over the weekend were: Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Wardel, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rasmussen and small son, Lewis, of Salt Lake City. Other guests at the Shelton home on New Year's Day were Mr. and Mrs. Norton Shelton. of Roosevelt. Roose-velt. m , Mr. and Mrs. Roy Taylor visited vis-ited Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ross at Arcadia. Ar-cadia. . . Mrs Mar R. Lisonbee, of Bluebell, visited during the week with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee. The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Marret was blessed at Sacrament meeting Sunday and given the name of Annette. NEW YEAR'S DINNER Mr. anfi Mrs. Jack Liddell entertained at a New Year's Day dinner at their home. Those present were: Judy Halladay and Carol Mickelson, of Duchesne; Du-chesne; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Shep-hard Shep-hard and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Liddell. Other callers at I the Liddell home were Mr. and Mrs. Abe Liddell and Mrs. Rose Walker, of Roosevelt. Ronald Lisonbee arrived home New Year's Eve from Ft. Ord, Calif, on a short furlough. He left Monday morning for Fort Ord, where he is in basic training. train-ing. New Year's Day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gail were Mr. and Mrs. Thure Carlson and family, of Roosevelt; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Taylor.
