Show Flu Epidemic Hits Roosevelt According to reports from the local hospital, many small children chil-dren have . been hospitalized recently re-cently for treatment of intestinal flu. Additional children's beds had to be secured for the present needs. It was reported that the illness seems to be more prevalent preva-lent in children about two years of age. Among those receiving hospital treatment were Randall Sullivan, 16-month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Sullivan; Meredith Mantyla, Man-tyla, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. D. G. Mantyla; Arvin Winterton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Omni Winterton; Win-terton; Kathy Jean Roberts, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Pat Roberts; small son of Mr. and Mrs. Orin Bird and small son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Wardle. |
