Show Tabiona DUP Has Program, Selects Officers The annual Christmas party of the Tabiona Daughters of the Utah Pioneers was held Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Thelma D. Nye, with thirty ladies present. Assisting -hostesses were Mrs. Norma Wagstaff, Mrs. De-one De-one Rhoades and Mrs. Winona Lefler. Captain Grace Giles conducted con-ducted the meeting with Mrs. Rel-la Rel-la LeFevre giving the lesson consisting con-sisting of some very interesting pioneer and Christmas stories. Mrs. Norma Wagstaff read a special spe-cial history. Mrs. Giles gave her two year report as captain, which was followed by the election of new camp officers, under the direction di-rection of Mrs. Lova Gines, par-limentarian. par-limentarian. Chosen to lead the Tabiona Daughters for the next two years are: Mrs. Grace Giles, captain for the fourth consecutive time; Mrs. Rella LeFevre,- first vice-captain; Mrs. Nettie Carlile, registrar, Mrs. Norma Wagstaff, historian; Mrs. Minnie Van Tassell, chaplain, and Mrs. Hazel Clark, parlimentarian. A second vice-captain will be chosen later. Mrs. Giles reported the Daughters Daugh-ters of the Utah Pioneers have earned and contributed more than $200.00 to the Tabiona ward building build-ing fund during this past year. After the business meeting, games were played, a delicious hot supper served and gifts exchanged. |
