The theme was "A Pretty Girl Is Like A Melody," which was carried out in the decorations, with dancing silhouettes and musical musi-cal notes. A beautiful floor show was under the direction of dance directors Leah Chandler and Grant Jarman. Smith's orchestra of Moffat Mof-fat furnished the music. Stake visitors attending were stake dance directors Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Wil-son Gutzman. Mrs. Hazel Wardle gave the Theology lesson Tuesday in Relief Society meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Brough and two sons, Douglas and Blaine, spent a few days the first of the week visiting in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Blake ' Peay, Jr. have moved from the Wall home into Mr. Peay's .parents' home. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Daniels, of Ft. Duchesne, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Young and boys, of Vernal, spent Sunday visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Young. Ward Jarman arrived home Sunday Sun-day after taking a truck load of furniture to California . for Bert Young. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Wardle made a recent business trip to Ignacio, Colorado. Mrs. Louella Brough, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, was a visitor Tuesday at Relief Re-lief Society. Mr. and Mrs. George Pickup and family, of Tule Lake, Calif., brought Mrs. Ada Pickup home. Mrs Pickup has been visiting in Tule Lake for the past month. Verl Moore, of Roosevelt, spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wall. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon J. Lewis and family, of Vernal, spent Friday Fri-day visiting at the J E. Jensen home. They also attended the Avalon Av-alon ward Gold and Green Ball. Neldon Wall, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend visiting at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wall. Grant Jarman, of Price, spent the weekend here. ' Ralph Wall spent the weekend here visiting his family. Louis Harris went to Artesia with Mr. Wall, where they will be employed. employ-ed. Mrs. Jessie Pickup came home Friday evening and attended the Gold and Green Ball. Mrs. Pickup returned to Provo Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Jensen of Salt Lake City, spent Sunday visiting relatives here. Lawrell Jensen was a stake Sunday Sun-day School visitor here Sunday. Speakers in Sacrament meeting Sunday afternoon were home missionaries, mis-sionaries, Howard Andrews and Zane Asay; High Councilmen, James E. Bacon and Marion Bowman; Bow-man; Melvin Jorgensen and Geo. Pickup. Ward Jarman was released re-leased as ward clerk and Drayden Foster was sustained in his place. Melvin Jorgensen, of Moses Lake, Washington, -is visiting his brothers, Calvin and Oliver Jor-, gensen. Mrs. Melvin Jorgensen is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Larsen of Ogden. Mr and Mrs. Ralph Taylor spent Sunday visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Littleton. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen and daughter, Irene, Joyce and Mrs. Marian Shelton and son, Duane j of Roosevelt, spent Saturday visiting vis-iting in Vernal at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon J. Lewis. |
