Show BRIDGELABD I Mr. Shelbv Lisenbee j Farmerettes Have New Officers The Farmerette Club of Bridge-land Bridge-land and Arcadia held their meeting meet-ing Dec. 6 at the home of Mrs. Merle Ross, in Arcadia. Business of the club was in electing new officers for the coming year. Those elected to serve were Mrs. Lilly Mae Clayburn, president; Mrs. Grace Larsen, vice-president; Mrs. Nancy Ann Gilbert, secretary-treasurer; Clista Neilson, reporter. re-porter. A gift was presented to Mrs. Golda Jensen, Merle Smith and Nona Holgate, the retiring officers. Two books were presented to Miss Mary Lois Reichert in appreciation ap-preciation of the help she has given giv-en in presenting activity in the club. A program of the following numbers was presented: a reading read-ing by Joy Lean Clayburn; vocal solo, Grace Larsen; jokes, Helen Neilson and Alice Beal, and a reading by Golda Jensen. Refreshments were served to twenty-two ladies and a Christmas Christ-mas gift exchanged by the ladies. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Van Tassell spent several days during the week in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Wright, of Utahn, visited Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Walters. Mrs. Clista Neilson went to Salt Lake City Saturday, returning home Sunday. Rulon Liddell spent the weekend week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Liddell Rulon is going to school in Provo. |
