Show Mrs. Ellen Bracken Phone 62062 Home Ceremony Unites Couple John Gardner and Mrs. Lula Jones, of Roxville, Georgia, were married by Bishop Golden Collins in a quiet wedding ceremony at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gardner on Friday evening. Just the immediate families were in attendance. Wedding oake and, . punch were served after the ceremony. cere-mony. Mrs. Jack Cook presented the Theology lesson in Relief Society on Tuesday, and Carol Betts the Teachers' visiting topic. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Betts, of Tridell, are the proud parents of a baby boy. The doting grandparents grandpar-ents are Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Betts of Ballard, and Mr. and Mrs. Reed McConkie of Tridell. Lynn White made a trip to Salt Lake City last week. Willie Smith, who has spent some time in Ogden, is at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Winn now. Clarence Betts, who has been employed in Carbon County, is home now because of illness. Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Smith and two children, of Whiterocks, were callers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Parrish on Saturday. Satur-day. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Bracken and sons, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend at the Percival home in Ioka and with Mr. and Mrs. George Bracken. The Brackens report re-port they like their new home in Salt Lake very well. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cook left their small son in a hospital in Salt Lake City last week, where it can receive special medical care for a while. Perry Butcher, who has been in the Veterans' Hospital for several weeks now, has returned home. Erie Hatch made a business trip to Phoenix, Arizona last week, and he was accompanied by his wife. While in Arizona they went through the LDS Temple at Mesa. |
