Show RELEASED FROM AIR FORCE DUTY Donnell Brokaw Alc returned home last week after receiving his hornorable discharge from the Air Force at Ent Air Fo,ce Base m Co orado Springs on Dec 3 Donnell served three years-one' year being m Korea-and is most1 happy to be again at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs Austin Brokaw, and with his brother Blaine who also resides with his parents. Mrs. Jim Wash who recently underwent surgery at the Price hospital was able to return to her home last week and is now convalescing at the home of her daughter, Margaret, at Fort Duchesne. Du-chesne. Mr and Mrs. Parvin E. Church wi 1 be spending the Christmas holidays with members of their family at Kanab, Utah. They expect ex-pect to leave Wednesday for a three-week vacation. Earl Fowler spent the weekend at Provo visiting relatives and transacting business. Mr. and Mrs. Marsh Donegan and two daughters who have been residing in the Hemphill house left last week for Butte, Montana, their former place of residence. They will remain in Montana till spring when they will return to Myton to again take up residence here. Mrs. Nephi Porritt, who was confined to her bed for several days, was sufficiently improved to attend to her home duties this week. John Lamicq, of Price, was a Myton business visitor Thursday, as he and his herders took his sheep herds to their winter range l south of town. Mr. Lamicq recently recent-ly brought his herds from their summer range near Aspen, Colo. Ralph Gibboney, of Nine Mile, was a visitor in Myton last Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Lavar Peterson went to Salt Lake City Sunday on a business trip. A weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gingell was Bert Carter, a son-in-law of Mr. Gingell, who came from Provo with a party of duck hunters for two days of hunting on the waterways water-ways in this district. Mrs. Bliss Lott left Saturday, accompanying her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lott, and 2 daughters to Salt Lake City. Mrs. Lott then continued her journey to Los Angeles, Calif., where she will be a visitor at the home of her daughter and son-in-law,- Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Tinsley during the winter months. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lott and daughters visited relatives in Salt Lake, returning re-turning home Sunday evening. Ralph Muir, of Duchesne, was a Myton visitor, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish visited in Duchesne Sunday afternoon after-noon at the home of Mrs. Dal-gleish's Dal-gleish's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart. They also enjoyed a brief visit with Mrs. Del Combs and son, Gary, who came from Salt Lake City for a weekend visit. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gingell went to Chicago last week to get a new truck which would be delivered deliver-ed to them at the factory. Weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Giles were Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Andrews and family, of Salt Lake City. Mr and Mrs. Wm. R. Harris enjoyed en-joyed a weekend visit from Mrs. Iva Adams, who is a member of the faculty of the Duchesne Elementary Ele-mentary School. Mrs. Adams was a teacher in the Myton school for several years. |
