Show Rose Ceremony Held By Mia Maid Group At the home of their- leader. Pearl Labrum, the Mia Maids of the Roosevelt Fourth LDS ward held their Rose Ceremony in a candlelight service last Thursday evening. Each girl participating in the ceremony related what the rose meant to her and then placed her rose in the rose bouquet. Mai Maids tying the bouquet after the symbolism of the rose was presented were: Nadine Chugg, Carol Lynn Cook and Leota Pitt. A talk was given by Dora Curry, YWMIA president, who was presented with a rose. A piano selection, "Deep Purple," Pur-ple," was played by Carol Lynn Cook. Mothers present were Mrs. Grant Chugg and Mrs. Johnnie Cook, who were also presested 'with roses. Light refreshments were served at the conclusion of the program. |
