Show Tleola By Lecta Horrocks Neola Mia Maids In Rose Ceremony In an impressive candle-light ceremony, the Mia Maid class of the MIA tied their Rose Bouquet. Bou-quet. The Relief Society room was beautifully decorated with spring flowers, and the lace-covered lace-covered table held candleabra with green tapers and a matching match-ing vase for the individual ros es. A brief program was presented, pre-sented, with parents of the girls, Y.W.M.I.A executives and - the bishopric as special guests. Connie Basian was awarded her pin for achievement during dur-ing the past two years. Dainty refreshments were served by the girls, assisted by their teacher, teach-er, Mrs. Dorothy Luck. Those participating included: Mona Allred, Daisy Mitchell, Arake Horrocks, Edna Mitchell, Jennie Lee Hacking, Connie Bastian, Gay Cloward, Charlotte Char-lotte Henrie, Alene Peterson, Mavie Dye. Regular school actiivties were dispensed with last Friday, when the grounds were given their annual spring cleaning. Armed with rakes and hoes, the accumulated debris of the winter win-ter months was dispatched in short order. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gardner, Mr and Mrs. Floyd Gardner, of Spanish Fork, were Saturday visitors at the William Ober-hansley Ober-hansley home. They are brothers broth-ers of Mrs. Oberhansley. |
