Show Mrs. Ellen Bracken Phone 62062 Deehive Girls Put On Play The Beehive girls of Ballard put on a play called, "All In Your Head," to earn money to go to Brighton, a home for the Beehive girls. The play was presented at the Ballard ward chapel last Thursday evening and they took in $85.00. The ones in the play were: Karen Gines, Clara Betts, Elaine Angus, An-gus, Celia Kay Jenkins, Mari-ann Mari-ann Larsen, Neil White, Clyde Collins, Gilbert Ross, Mary Col-j lins, Mary Hullinger and Lon-nie Lon-nie Kay Winn. Assistantc were Beth Muny, Betty Pitcher, snaron itasmussen, (iara 0101-la, 0101-la, Judy Brisbin, Colleen Squire and Elaine Bingham. Mrs. Inez Squire and Myrtle Collins, with Mrs. Merle Gines, Mrs. Myrth Gardner and Mrs. Vionne Parrish helped put the play over. There was a large crowd in attendance, the. girls had canvessed the ward in selling sell-ing tickets. Mrs. Rulon Anderton, of Roosevelt, was a substitute teacher one day last week, at Alterra, for Mrs. Glen Knight. Mrs. Alice Squire, assisted by Mrs. Vione Parrish, presented the Literature lesson at Relief Society last week. Frank Bingham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bingham, and Mrs. Xavier Bellon, are enjoy-Arlin enjoy-Arlin Bellon, son of Mr. and ing a short furlough at home. Both boys entered the armed forces in February and have been stationed at Ft. Ord. Norman Angus was home from the USAC over the weekend, week-end, and Gary Gardner from the BYU. The Relief Society ladies quilted a lovely quilt for Mrs. Pearl Jenkins the past week. Mrs. Jenkins resides in Roosevelt Roose-velt now. Mrs. O s a Hullinger and daughter, Barbara, spent Saturday Sat-urday in Salt Lake City, visiting visit-ing friends and shopping. Mrs. David Lundberg accompanied them home, having gone out with the 8th grade students. Bernard (Buzz) Larsen has opened up his gas station for business on the Bench on High way 4U. J Beverly Squires and Gay Col- lins, who are sudents in an Og- den school, spent Easter with home folks. ' Mrs. George Bracken accompanied accom-panied Mrs. Duane Bracken to Avalon last Tuesday, where they visited Relief Society. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Betts and family, of Tridell, visited at the home of Grant's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Betts on Saturday. |
