Show Primary Will Be Held Wednesdays Due to a new school ruling, it has become necessary to discontinue dis-continue holding Primary on school time. Primary will continue, con-tinue, however, at 3:30 p. m. each Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Art Norton and children, of Twin Falls. Idaho, spent the week end with his mother, Mrs. Sarah Norton, and other relatives. Other visitors at Mrs. Norton's home during the week were Mr. and Mrs. David I. Wilson, of Roosevelt, John Wilson, of Tridell. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Norton, of Vernal. Phillip Payne, of Colorado, is a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Law-rence Caldwell. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Hadlock have returned to California, af- ter spending the summer with Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Caldwell. Cald-well. Mrs. Olie Justice and son, Garth, returned recently from Salt Lake City, where Garth was under treatment for polio. He has enrolled at Union high school. Mr. and Mrs. Rulen Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen spent the week end in Provo as guests of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Acel Halman, and daughters. Mrs. Margaret Harrison spent a few days in Vernal recently with her daughters, Mrs. C. D. Anderson and Mrs. Lorna Williams. Wil-liams. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lowe and sons are visiting in Franklin, Frank-lin, Idaho, with Mr. Lowe's parents. par-ents. Mr. Lowe is on leave from the Navy, having- just returned re-turned from duty in Korea and vicinity. Alfonzo Van made a trip to Bountiful with a load of squash last week. Mrs. Ed Colton is home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thur-mer Thur-mer Rasmussen. She has been working in Vernal and will leave soon for San Diego to join her husband who has been serving over seas. Mr. and Mrs. George Jenkins and children visited in Vernal recently with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jenkins and sons. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hacking received a letter recently from their son, Pvt. Tommy Hacking stating that he had arrived in Germany. Mrs. Keith Ross and son, Larry, of Vernal, visited recently recent-ly with Mrs. Ross' mother, Mrs. Roxie Taylor. ! Mr. and Mrs. Earl H. Jenkins and family, of Kenilworth, spent, the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins. Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Allen, of Kanab, visited Mrs. Sarah Norton during the week. |
