Show Whiterocks Reception Honors School Official Miss McPherson was honored last Thursday evening at a reception re-ception given by the principal and teachers , of the Uintah Boarding School. Miss McPherson McPher-son is one of the school's supervisors. super-visors. After the reception, a pot-luck pot-luck supper was enjoyed by the community in the employees dining din-ing room. The tables were beautifully beau-tifully decorated with bowls of assorted fall flowers. Thirty-four Thirty-four persons attended the reception re-ception and dinner. Alfonso Cutch is home on leave, visiting his friends and staying at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Tavapont. He has been stationed at Camp Roberts, Cal., and expects to report at a camp in Washington state. We welcome wel-come him home and hope he comes again soon. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wheeler spent last week in Salt Lake City. They attended the State Fair while there. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marimon are expected to return Wednesday Wednes-day from their visit in Los Angeles. An-geles. Calif. Mrs. Moud Phillips is visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Robert Marimon. Capt. W. G. Avery spent Friday Fri-day and Saturday at Randlett. He showed post card pictures at the community hall to the Indian people gathered there. The pictures were in the form of a lecture and travelogue. With the help of the Indian people, he did work at the Holy Spirit church and on the church grounds. All Indian boys who are interested in-terested in the Sir Galahad Court and in club work are urged to attend the Sir Galahad Court at 4 p. m. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth's. The club will select se-lect a name Tuesday evening. The community of Whiterocks enjoyed a pot-luck picnic Sunday. Sun-day. Hosts were Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Stone, of Fort Duchesne.
