Show Bridgeland Ward Gets New Officers A Bridgland ward conference was held Sunday evening, with the following members of the high council and stake presidency presi-dency in attendance: President Hale Holgate, Voy Fairbanks, .lmer Moon, Byron Collett, Shelby Lisonbee, Alvin White, and Wanless Shields. Business of the conference was the reorganization re-organization of the Sunday school and Y.M.M.I.A. Shelby Lisonbee, who was recently re-cently ordained a high priest and a member of the High Council, Coun-cil, was released from the Sunday Sun-day school. Roy Taylor was sustained to replace Mr. Lisonbee Lison-bee as Sunday school superintendent, superin-tendent, with Eldon Brady and George Marrot as his assistants. Glen Van Tassell was released from the Y.M.M.I.A to work as president of the elders quorum for the Duchesne stake. Replacing Replac-ing Mr. Van Tassell was Wells Wright, who has served the past five years as first counselor in the bishopric. Speakers for the conference were Bishop Carl Van Tassell, Malcolm Walters, Wells Wright, Wilson Neilsen, Presidents Holgate. Hol-gate. Fairbanks and Moon. Music Mu-sic was furnished by a mixed choir. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Young, of Mt. Emmons, were Tuesday visitors at the LaMar Neilsoii home. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Brady, of Ogden, gpent the week end with their mother, Mrs. Zeda Brady. Miss Emma Lee Brady, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Elden Brady, left Monday for Provo to enroll at Brigham Young University. Mrs. Shirley Halladav, Mrs. Hazel Walters, Mrs. Elda Van-Tassell, Van-Tassell, Mrs. Viola Shephard and Mrs. Olive Nielsen were among- those who attended thi stake Relief Society opening sopial at Duchesne. |
