Show BPW PLans Special Service Coys' Edition To Paper I A very worthwhile project 'was conceived by the Roosevelt Business and Professional Women's Wom-en's club last Friday night at a special meeting held at the Frontier Grill, presided over by Mrs. Lon Logan, president. Adopted as the club's project for this year is the sponsoring of a special edition to the Roosevelt Roos-evelt Standard, which will be called "The Service Boys' Special Spe-cial Edition." They intend to supply the boys in service with this issue before Christmas. Information concerning the boys' enlistments, their locations, interesting incidents, etc., will ' be collected and published in the special edition, which will i prove most interesting to each 1 boy, giving him an opportunity I to learn of his friends' whereabouts where-abouts and their activities. I The committee in charge, in-j in-j eluding Mrs. Eugene Harmston, chairman, Mrs. Howard Harri-' Harri-' son and Mrs. J. V. McLea, request re-quest the cooperation of the j boys' parents or relatives in I helping secure the needed information. in-formation. The committee is also ! desirous of receiving information informa-tion on local boys in service who have not been inducted through the Duchesne County Selective Service Board. Parents are asked to send available information to Mrs. Harmston as soon as possible. Date of enlistment,, location, address ad-dress and other important details de-tails should be submitted. |
