Show w MIA PRESENTS SUNDAY PROGRAM The M.I.A. of the Roosevelt ward presented a very interesting interest-ing program Sunday evening, centered around the theme, "Choose Ye This Day Whom You Will Serve; As For Me, I Will Serve The Lord." A skit was presented, depicting depict-ing the theme, by Mr. and Mrs. Harold Eldredge, Edith Hardinger, Hardin-ger, Renee Eldredge and Hale Buchanan. A very informative talk on Japan, the people and their customs, was given by Edith Nell Preece, who spent three years there as an employee of the U. S. State Department. She is now employed in San Francisco. Fran-cisco. A reading was given by Mrs. Bert Gardner, and a chorus presented pre-sented a vocal number under the direction of Mrs. Vere Johnson John-son and accompanied by Mrs. David Watkins. Orman Sullivan, president of the Y.M. M.I.A. took charge of the meeting. |
