Show LDS Temple Rites Unite Couple; Reception Is Held Mr. and Mrs. 'Tex' Ross announce an-nounce the marriage of their sister, Miss Darlene Taylor, to Daniel Witbeck, of Roosevelt, Sept. 26. The ceremony was performed per-formed in the Salt Lake L.D.S. temple. Miss Taylor came from Park City over a year ago and has lived with the Ross family since that time. The groom is a son of Mrs. Margaret Witbeck and is a graduate grad-uate of Roosevelt high school. The young couple was honored hon-ored at a reception in the Ballard Bal-lard ward chapel Friday evening, eve-ning, Sept. 28. An enjoyable evening was spent and the newly new-ly weds received many lovely gifts. Mrs. Keith Snyder and three children, of Altonah, visited Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bingham. Several of Bill Brisbin's neighbors neigh-bors and relatives met Sunday September 23 to help him celebrate cel-ebrate his birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Alden White took their son, Bryce, to Salt Lake City Tuesday, then on to Provo to enroll at the B.Y.U. ! Mr. and Mrs. Jap Pike, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Butcher and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. James Butcher Butch-er and two sons, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Butcher and sons, Perry and Sanford, motored to Diamond Dia-mond Mountain Sunday, Sept. 23, to visit with Ottis Butcher, who is employed there, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Collins, of Salt Lake City, were recent visitors at the home of Mr, and Mrs.- Ernest Betts. They also visited with other relatives at Ballard and at Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Johnson and family, of New Hampshire,; Reed Johnson, of Logan; DeLoy Johnson, of Logan, who has been serving with the Navy in Korean waters; and Mrs. Bertha Nye and son, of Ogden, visited last week at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Winn and Mr. and Mrs. David Lundberg. |
