Show Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee M.I. A. Program Given Sunday A special Sunday night program pro-gram was given by the M.I. A. Sunday, September 30. Presiding at the meeting was Bishop Carl VanTassell, with Elva Lisonbee conducting. Speakers on the program were Mrs. Arietta Williams, of Duchesne, Du-chesne, Stake Y.W.M.I.A. president, presi-dent, and Miss Evelyn Gilbert, of Arcadia. Music was furnished by the ladies' chorus. Mr. Williams, of Duchesne, and Mrs. Cecila Gilbert, of Arcadia, Ar-cadia, were in attendance. Mrs. Bruce Fitzgerald and children and Mrs. Swain, of Roosevelt, visited here Saturday with friends and relatives. Leon Walters, of Salt Lake City is spending a few days here to help with the farm wo'k while his father is gathering cattle. cat-tle. Mr. and Mrs. Sherwood Lisonbee, Lis-onbee, of Salt Lake, visited Saturday Sat-urday with their parents. Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee. and also at the V. E, Penfield home in Crescent. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Liddell are driving a beautiful new Buick. Mrs. Delia Liddell took her Beehive class into the hills Saturday Sat-urday to gather pinenuts. Enjoying En-joying the outing were LuJean Jennings. Louise Liddell, Edna Neilsen, Darleen Brady, Geneal Shelton, Valoy and Kay Wright and JaNae LiddelL Mrs. Chastie Neilsen visited with Mrs. Chris Larsen at Ar cadia the first of the week. |
