Show Bluebell Mrs. Garda Seeley Calvin Powell Honored At Party Mrs. Vivian Powell entertained enter-tained at a surprise party in honor of the birthday anniversary anniver-sary of her son, Calvin. The following fol-lowing friends helped Calvin celebrate an anniversary that he will long remember: Jerry and Judy Lambert, Janet Seeley, Paul Monson, Danny Ralphs, Shanna Lee Winkler, Carolyn Goodrich, Carma Atwood, Ralph Goodrich, Telitha Bird, Barbara and Kenneth Bird, Genie Barrett, Bar-rett, June Powell, Michael and Larry Lisonbee, Julia Bristol and Lnn Cook. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Smith and baby son, and Mrs. Martha Smith, of Price, visited here Thursday with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. James Cook returned home Saturday, after spending the past two months at Elko, Nevada, with their daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs, Mary Barns, and family. fam-ily. Mr. and Mrs. Harry, Latturn-er. Latturn-er. of Price, spent Saturday and Sunday here with Mrs. Latturn-er's Latturn-er's sister, Mrs. Laura Seeley. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Goodrich Good-rich and Mrs. Laura Seeley, spent Wednesday in Salt Lake City. The - Goodriches returned home the same day and Mrs. Seeley remained in Salt Lake City and Ogden. Her son, Mo-veil Mo-veil Seeley, and grandson, Keith Seeley, brought her home on Saturday. Mrs. Irene Barrett returned home Saturday from Salt Lake City, where she underwent a major operation on her throat. Her mother, Mrs. Clark, of Altonah, Al-tonah, is assisting at the Barrett home. Mrs. Agnes Anderson left on Tuesday for Salt Lake City to visit with relatives. While away Mrs. Anderson will accompany her son, Ivan, and family through the Salt Lake L.D.S. temple. Aullen Larsen and John Asa Webb, who are attending school at Carbon College, Price, spent the week end at home with their parents. Mrs. Sarah Case, of Vernal, held a Penny-Wise plastic party at the home of Mrs. Zella Goodrich Good-rich Friday afternoon. A large group of women was present. Walter Remington, Gardner Goodrich, Fred Goodrich. Bernard Bern-ard Winkler, Wallace Seeley, and M. C. Seeley went to Vernal Ver-nal Saturday to buy some purebred pure-bred Columbia sheep. Fred Mathews left during the week to return to his navy base in California, after spending a 30-day furlough here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claud Mathews. |
