Show Thursday, January 6, 1949 , SOCIETY" Peggy Oldroyd, Society Reporter WATCH-NIGHT" PARTY Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Mills en-'crtained en-'crtained six couples at a delightful delight-ful "Watch-Night" party at their residence on New Year's eve. A delicious chicken dinner was featured at a table made festive with a low centerpiece of bronze chrysanthemums and white 'Following 1 dinner, the jolly crowd danced 'the old year out and the New Year in. TUESDAY BRIDGE A bright spot on the week's social calendar was the bridge supper at which Mrs. Louis Cor-bridge Cor-bridge entertained members of the Tuesday club at the Frontier Grill, on January 4. Five tables of bridge were at play, following supper, with prizes priz-es being won by Mrs. Paul Wil-kins, Wil-kins, Mrs. Wayne Malin, Mrs. Homer P. Edwards and Mrs. Glenn Wyler. NEWLYWEDS RETURN MYTON Mr. and Mrs, Neal Murray, who recited their nuptial nup-tial vows in the Manti L D S temple on December 22, returned last week to make their home in My ton. The bride, the former Ella Rogers, Rog-ers, is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Rogers, of Mt. Emmons, Em-mons, while the bridegroom is a son of Mr and Mrs Wilmer Murray, of Myton. |
