Show - -.i.i - - Altonah Mrs. Ethel Beebe Mr. and Mrs. George Heggie left Tuesday for their home in Raymond, Canada, after spend1-ing spend1-ing the past two months with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Reay. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hayes and family spent part of the holidays with Mrs. Hayes' parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Fowler. Bishop and Mrs Lester Max-field Max-field transacted business in Vernal, Ver-nal, Monday. An old-time dance was given in the ward hall Wednesday night. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Thacker, of Altamont, furnished the music. mus-ic. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Anderson and family, of Ioka, spent the day at the home of Mrs. Anderson's Ander-son's mother, Mrs. Mary Bow-den, Bow-den, Friday. Mrs. Earl Dunsmore was taken tak-en to the Roosevelt hospital Tuesday. The cause of illness is undetermined. Mrs. Clarence Jones is taking care of the three Dunsmore children. The Primary officers and teachers gave the children a dance Thursday afternoon. Blaine Corbin went to Vernal Friday with Charley Timothy. Snow plows have been busy clearing away tne is men snow which fell during the holidays., Blaine Corbin had a collision with a Hi-Land milk truck Christmas day as he was en-route en-route to Duchesne with the mail, when the truck made an un-signalled un-signalled turn. No one was injured, in-jured, but the front of the Corbin Cor-bin car was badly damaged. Floyd Farnsworth, of Mt. Home is driving the mail. Mr. and Mrs. Orsen Page, of Kamas. are visiting with their son, Leo, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Lott Powell, Mr. and Mrs John Powell and Mrs. Aldon Carroll drove to Rangely, Colo, one day last week. The baby daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Page was blessed and named "Terry Sue" at Sacrament Sacra-ment meeting Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Aldon Carroll, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bowden and Mr .and Mrs. Leo Page spent New Year's eve at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kelley Riley. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Page went j to Salt Lake Sunday, where Mr. Page was scheduled to go thru the clinic Monday. |
