Show Ballard Ellen Bracken Orlan Cook has gone to Idaho to work. Glen Broderick, of Salt Lake City, was a guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen over New Year's. Lurrine returned re-turned to Salt Lake with him after af-ter spending a week at home. Bishop Arthur Wiscombe. who is working at Morgan, and his son, Erold, who is enrolled at the B Y U, spent New Year's at home. A welcome home party was held Thursday evening for Keith Todd and Mark Angus. The program pro-gram ended bl talks by each of the boys and by their mothers, Mrs. Fannie Todd and Mrs. Minnie Min-nie Angus. Dancing terminated the party. Attending from other wards were Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Russon, Bennett, Mr. and Mrs.' Karl Betts, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Timothy, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Bracken and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Angus, of Roosevelt. The Stake Presidency and the High Counselors and their wives held a social at the Alterra Seminary Sem-inary Wednesday evening. It is reported that Norman Jenkins is confined to his home with pneumonia. Eula Brighton, of Salt Lake City, has been enjoying a holiday visit with her parents. Several from the ward attended attend-ed funeral services for Mrs. J. P. Rudy at Orem on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Mitchell and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Jenkins, Jen-kins, of Tooele, spent Christmas at the Bill Jenkins home. Mrs. Jenkins brother, Walter Thompson, Thomp-son, was also a guest. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon and family, of Ioka, spent New Year's with Mr. and Mrs. Ercil Johnson and family. Mark Angus left Sunday for Provo to enroll at the B Y U for the winter quarter. Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Mohlman and small daughter, of Altonah, attended the party at Ballard Thursday evening. A series of parties were held during the week by Mr. and Mrs. Buzz Larsen, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Allred, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Jenkins Jen-kins and Mr. and Mrs. Dee Allred. |
